Trading Signals - 28 October 2026

26 trade ideas for 28 October 2026: 10 long and 16 short. Entry, stop and two targets are given for each, with the reasoning and the level at which the idea is abandoned.

Today's framework

Wednesday 28 October 2026. The Fed decides this evening and the list is positioned around it. The chip side got a concrete support: SK Hynix said memory chips are sold out to 2029, that demand is twice supply, and that the shortage runs to 2030. In oil, a Houthi strike on a Saudi refinery keeps the supply worry alive and Brent is at 111 dollars.

Ten of the ideas are long and sixteen short. All are taken at the market except bitcoin, which waits for a confirmed close above the level it lost last week. The buy side is energy, the chip names and the cash-generating large caps; the sell side is the metals group and the currencies against the dollar.

Trade ideas

Entry is given as a band, or as the single level a conditional idea needs. The note under the table gives the reasoning and the level at which the idea is abandoned.

  • 1. BTC — long. At 80,922 dollars and a 1.27% rise yesterday took it to 81,300; the level that acted as support for weeks and broke last week is now being tested as resistance. The overnight low of 80,621 held above the 80,000 threshold and the price sits above the 200-day average by 6.7%. The Fed decides this evening and the direction becomes clear after that. The direction is up but the entry depends on confirmation; chasing a buy before 81,300 breaks is expensive ahead of the Fed.
