23 trade ideas for 6 November 2026: 5 long and 18 short. Entry, stop and two targets are given for each, with the reasoning and the level at which the idea is abandoned.

Today's framework

Friday 6 November 2026. The Nasdaq 100 fell 6.36% and the chip index collapsed 12% to a six-month low. UBS estimates that of the US data centre capacity expansion expected for 2028, around 30% is at risk from construction pauses, and that is the direct counterpart of equipment orders. AMD was the worst of the day with a fall of 17.26%. A billion dollars of crypto positions were liquidated, and gold fell on the same day.

Five of the ideas are long and eighteen short. Two are taken at the market and five on a pullback; the rest wait for an upward reaction before the sell is taken. The buy side is the large caps that held up and the European indices.

  • 1. BTC — short. At 75,622 dollars and it fell 6.10% yesterday; the price is making successively lower highs and lower lows and has moved below the 200-day average by 0.5%. A billion dollars of positions were liquidated in crypto, but bitcoin's loss stayed below the Nasdaq 100's fall of 6.36% and over the past month it returned 7.4% more than the market. So the selling did not come from crypto; it was carried over from the equity side. The structure is down so the direction is a sell, but allowing for that relative resilience the size is small. Action: small sell on an upward reaction into the 76,051-76,416 band, target 74,712. Invalidated if: A close above 77,938.
  • 2. ETH — short. At 2,225.74 dollars and it fell 8.28% yesterday; the price is in a falling high-low structure and sits below the 200-day average by 3.2%. The monthly loss is 17.49% and momentum is 39. It fell harder than bitcoin because its futures market is thinner. Action: sell on an upward reaction into the 2,235-2,250 band, target 2,179. Invalidated if: A close above 2,313.
  • 3. AAPL — long. At 344.17 dollars with the trend up in every time frame; over the past month it is 6.8% ahead of the market and it fell only 1.53% yesterday. Falling that little while the Nasdaq 100 lost 6.36% shows the strength of the divergence. The price sits above the 200-day average by 13% and momentum is 53. The structure is mixed, so the size is small. Action: small buy on a pullback into the 341.06-342.39 band, target 347.28. Invalidated if: A close below 335.51.
  • 4. MSFT — long. At 535.93 dollars with the trend up; over the past month it is 8.3% ahead of the market and the weekly gain is 1.09%. It fell 3.58% yesterday, about half as much as the index. The price sits above the 200-day average by 15% and momentum is 54. The structure is mixed, so the size is small. Action: small buy on a pullback into the 530.49-532.82 band, target 541.37. Invalidated if: A close below 520.78. It is not traded on MT5.
  • 5. AMZN — long. At 260.21 dollars with the trend up; the weekly gain is 6.74% and over the past month it is 8.2% ahead of the market. It fell 2.19% yesterday, about a third as much as the index. Momentum is 55 and the price sits above the 200-day average by 5.7%. The structure is mixed, so the size is small. Action: small buy on a pullback into the 256.89-258.32 band, target 263.53. Invalidated if: A close below 250.98.
  • 6. DAX — long. At 26,325.01 and down only 0.43% yesterday; the trend is up, momentum is 62 and it is only 1.4% below its one-year high. Europe being affected that little while the Nasdaq lost 6.36% shows the geographic dimension of the divergence. Action: buy on a pullback into the 26,203-26,256 band, target 26,447. Invalidated if: A close below 25,986.
  • 7. FTSE 100 — long. At 10,782.70 and down 0.43% yesterday; the trend is up and momentum is 54. The price is 1.9% below its one-year high and the Bank of England raised its rate yesterday. Action: buy on a pullback into the 10,742-10,760 band, target 10,823. Invalidated if: A close below 10,670.
  • 8. NVDA — short. At 181.60 dollars and it fell 9.26% yesterday; the price is in a falling high-low structure and over the past month it is 16.8% behind the market. The weekly loss is 15.01% and the price sits below the 200-day average by 11.6%. Momentum at 25 is deep in oversold, so the size is small. The chip index collapsed 12% yesterday to a six-month low. UBS estimates that of the US data centre capacity expansion expected for 2028, around 30% is at risk from construction pauses; that is the direct counterpart of equipment orders. Action: small sell on an upward reaction into the 1,370-1,380 band, target 1,333. Invalidated if: A close above 1,421.
  • 11. AMD — short. At 404.40 dollars and with a 17.26% fall yesterday it was the worst of the day; the price is in a falling high-low structure and over the past month it is 31.2% behind the market. The monthly loss is 37.39% and momentum is 30. Its daily range has widened to 8.70%, so volatility is very high and the size is small.
